How Common is 90 degrees in April?

With the forecast for temperatures possibly near 90 degrees inland on Monday, I decided to research to see just how hot it can get in the month of April!
Here is some past temperature data for Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks.
-April 7, 1991: 90
-April 7, 2010: 93 (highest, earliest for month)
-April 16, 2002: 90
-April 17, 2002: 95
-April 19, 1976: 96 (highest ever for month)
-April 27, 1962: 94
-April 28, 1990: 94
-April 29, 1974: 91
As you can see at Bradley Airport temperatures at or above 90 have occurred 8 times since 1948.
It is possible Monday may become the 9th time. I will have an update on the high temperatures across the state early Monday evening.
