An April beach day!

The beaches were busy across the Connecticut shoreline today, which is a bit strange considering it being only mid-April! In West Haven folks were out playing volleyball and sunning themselves, and a few were actually swimming in the chilly 53 degree water!
Temperatures throughout the state were well above the normal high of 60 degrees. At Bradley Airport there was a new record high of 92 degrees, in Meriden it was 84, New Haven was 80 and here in Hamden my station recorded 82 degrees!
