The hot weather we have had in the past three days will be departing us as a cold front approaches us from the west. This front could bring us strong to severe storms. These storms could include: strong winds, hail, heavy down pours, and of course thunder and lightening. These storms will be scattered and isolated to certain areas. The greatest chance for severe weather is in Fairfield and New Haven Counties.

Currently it is in the upper 80's, low 90's but its going to feel a lot hotter with the 55% humidity. The temperature will fall into the lower 70's later with the cold front coming in this afternoon. Winds are calm at NNW at 2 MPH.

That is today's forecast, remember to keep an eye to the sky.
