5:30 p.m.
Thunderstorms are exiting Windham County and most of the state is dry. Although a widely scattered shower or storm is possible this evening, most of the stormy weather is done. You can notice that the Boston area is getting slammed with very strong thunderstorms.

Details:
An upper-level shortwave is swinging through the Northeast, helping to kick off some of these thunderstorms. Any storms could be severe, although the strongest storms should stay north of Connecticut. With that said, keep an eye to the sky, especially across northern sections of the state. These storms could move in any time this afternoon or early evening. The storms will generally move from NW to SE, although individual storm tracks may vary slightly.

Stay tuned to WXedge.com and live radar below to track the storms.
