Though the A.M. Independence Day rain showers have briefly come to a break, a look at Microcast, time-stamped at 1PM this afternoon shows that we could get some more spotty rain, and possible thunderstorms. The latest SPC model doesn't show too much energy;however, it is likely that we get some isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. Dewpoints are very high and clouds are breaking, so we've got the ingredients we need for convection. We're going to remain warm though tonight with lows in the mid-to-upper 60's, but with a westerly flow to the winds, so things become a less muggy by tonight. I expect that threat of thunder to diminish by later tonight, but we will see mostly cloudy skies.

Sunny skies for the end of the week.

Happy Independence Day!
