Western Connecticut storms could cause localized flooding.

As of 6:52 p.m.
A series of thunderstorms has formed along a line in western CT. The problem is that these storms are moving from NW to SE, meaning the storms may dump heavy rainfall repeatedly over the same spots. (The storms are lined up in the same direction they are moving)

The area outlined in yellow is the spot to watch.
It looks like a line from Woodbury/Middlebury southeastward towards Naugatuck could see periods of off and on heavy rain through 8 p.m.

Be prepared for ponding on roadways and localized flooding in this area.
