So yesterday began my "forecast for the troops" segment here on WXedge.  I began today wanting to "switch it up" a little bit so I decided to look up how many troops we have serving overseas currently.  Upon checking this out, I quickly realized that we don't have troops in Iraq anymore!  The largest number of overseas troops are in Afghanistan, second is Germany, and third is Japan.  I decided to fly out to Japan to give this edition of forecast for the troops.  Feel free to let me know if there are any other locations you'd like a forecast for!  Sorry in advance if I butchered the pronunciation of some of the locations!

Additionally, we got a few great pictures into Report It today from a family in Branford who took a 12 hour drive to welcome their son home from Afghanistan:

Seen below, Mom - Kathleen, Lcpl William F. Pepe, Jr, brother - Anthony, Dad- William, Sr. and Step Mom - Jennifer.
