Nice summer weather continues today with all models in agreement for 80s and lower 90s. There could be some cirrus at times coming in across the sky this afternoon, but not much.

Sun to clouds tomorrow and warmer with lots of 90s. My main concern is the thunder threat Saturday Evening and Night any time from 8PM on. I know there are many fireworks displays scheduled. Also, with SailFest in New London, many of you may be boating Saturday Night. PLEASE triple check the weather as there could be some potent thunderstorms over the Sound Saturday Evening.

The weather front may stay close to Long Island Sunday and Monday. At this point precipitation should stay south of Connecticut. Fair weather for the first half of next week.
