5 a.m. temperatures

Temperature across the area that varied widely this morning. From looking at the data I discovered that areas in southern Connecticut had more cloud cover and some wind which helped keep the temperatures near or above 60. But from the NW New Haven County area to the north, where skies were clear and winds calm temperatures were in the 50s!

Some of the lowest include:

Colebrook  49, Norfolk 51, Union, 54.

Across the Northeast there were some very chilly readings as well.

Some of the lowest include:

Saranac Lake, N.Y. 37, Mount Washington, N.H. 39, Berlin, N.H. 40
