After amazing weather all week long, the changes are pushing into Connecticut as we speak. It will not be the worst weekend, but it certainly won't be the best either.

The image above is the NGM weather model showing conditions at 8pm on Friday evening. The particular model that I have chosen to show is the 700mb heights and relative humidity. We use this level to find moisture, which is represented by the green shading with the highest moisture levels in the darker green color.

Moisture does not necessarily mean rain. It can be rain or clouds or even just higher humidity.

As of Friday evening, notice that the green is confined to our south where it has been pretty much all week long. This moisture has been plaguing the Southern and Southeastern United States but moving from west to east, which left CT in the clear.

But now, that moisture has changed directions and is beginning to move to the north. Check out the next slide to see where it goes.
