Just a reminder, Tornadoes do occur in Connecticut!!! An average of 3.7 tornadoes a year (as of 2011) to be exact, and with CAPE forecasted to be in the range of 2000-3000 L/kg, strong mid-level winds, 30-40 kt effective shear, and a cold front moving through, anything can happen. This weather set up is VERY similar to the set up on June 1, 2011 which produced numerous tornadoes in southern Massachusetts including an EF3 that traveled 39 miles across the state. Please take all watches and warnings seriously tomorrow!!! Don't forget weather band radios with batteries are always handy in power outages, and during severe weather and can save lives!!
