One Nice Day-Then Daily Showers

What a weather day today! High pressure crests right over our area through this evening with low humidity and nice skies.
Lots of energy upstream. The surge of warm and more humid air will kick off a round of rain and thunder tomorrow! This pattern is a real headache for meteorologists and those of you with outdoor plans through midweek next week.
It looks like this front will hang out right around Connecticut through the weekend. I am concerned for spotty heavy and slow moving downpours this weekend in localized areas. It looks like we will have little or no steering winds aloft through the weekend at precipitable water levels climb.
A northeast trof looks established through much of next week as well! I expected shower/thunder chances to continue through Wednesday.
Lawns and gardens will like it and this should help the deficit in many parts of the state!
