A few thundershowers are developing across Connecticut this afternoon.

Although the risk for any severe weather is relatively low, more thundershowers and isolated stronger thunderstorms can develop through the afternoon.

Daytime heating and moderate wind shear aloft will help kick off these storms.
Heavy rain, thunder and some lightning are the biggest threats.

WXedge will monitor the situation and let you know if storms get stronger.
