Most recent Drought Monitor map (updated last Tuesday)

After yesterday's flooding rain, combined with the increased frequency of rainfall events we've had recently in Connecticut, our state is slowly but surely subsiding out of drought conditions.

The map above shows the most recent updated conditions, but the data is 5 days old (new information is ingested each Tuesday and the map is issued on Thursdays). That means this map doesn't reflect the recent heavy rainfall from Friday and Saturday, and the additional rain we'll get tonight. So when the new information comes out next week, I think the map above will have much less coloring on it.
