Yesterday’s rain was the heaviest it’s been all year in parts of Connecticut! There was incredible flooding as seen in this article posted on wxedge.com. If you haven’t seen these incredible pictures I urge you to take a look! I talked to a few contributors and we collaborated to share some rainfall data from our weather stations.

Nick DiGiovanni (North Haven) 1.96” total 6.62”/hr. highest rainfall rate
Ronald Cimini (North Haven) 1.80” total 4.40”/hr. highest rainfall rate
Greg Horan (Hamden) 2.43” 9.49”/hr. highest rainfall rate
Mike Lavorgna (Hamden) 1.83” 6.84”/hr. highest rainfall rate
