High pressure dominates today with nice skies and low humidity levels.

Models are in pretty good agreement through midweek. The next frontal system approaches Tuesday Night and wednesday with showers and thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center is monitoring the trend for Wednesday with some strong-severe thunder possible for parts of Connecticut. 

Quiet weather moves back in late week before another system moves through Friday Night and Saturday with another round of showers and thunderstorms. ECMWF and GFS differ a bit on this, so we will be fine tuning the timing of when the showers and thunder move out!
