Calm But Hot in this Forecast for the Troops

Friday! That's all I have to say about that. It's my favorite day of the week because the weekend starts tomorrow. That's got nothing to do with Forecast for the Troops, but I'm still happy! As far as the forecast, Afghanistan will see calm conditions tonight, which is good for the men and women who might be stationed in Northwestern Afghanistan. Tonight, lows will be in the upper 60s to 70s, and tomorrow the valleys will be well above 100, with many triple digit temps for the mountains as well.
Japan will start the day off with sun for a few spots but quickly cloud over and see some showers and storms. Heat index is expected to get to near 100 for Okinawa!
