In the years since 1851 when records started being kept, we have never had a hurricane season as active as this one, with the exception of 2004.  We're already on storm #12, with no signs of weakening this hurricane season.  Hurricane Isaac has now dropped down to Tropical Depression Isaac, but Leslie has formed, and Kirk is now a hurricane.  If you're wondering what happened to the "J" storm, that was Joyce, that was born and died in the Atlantic as a tropical storm.  Let's check out the current active storms and track them over the next 5 days.
