TORNADO WARNING in effect until 2:30 p.m. for Litchfield County.
2:10 p.m.
Radar continues to indicate a possible tornado, which is centered over New Hartford. The storm is moving towards the north-northeast and will impact Winchester, Barkhamsted, Canton and Hartland through 2:30 p.m.

Radar indicates a very strong severe thunderstorm that is likely producing a tornado near Litchfield.
The storm will track towards Torrington and Harwinton over the next 20 minutes. This is a very dangerous storm and is showing SIGNIFICANT rotation on radar.

Radar is showing strong wind shear and rotation in a storm across lower Litchfield County. Radar is now indicating a TVS (TORNADO SIGNATURE) and a tornado may be forming or already on the ground.
The storm is centered near Bethlehem and is moving towards Morris and Litchfield. Take cover IMMEDIATELY if you are in or near this area.

Radar is showing strong wind shear and rotation in a storm just north of I-84 in the vicinity of Roxbury and Southbury.
Although there is only a Severe Thunderstorm Warning with this cell, a tornado could develop. At the very least, strong, damaging winds are a serious possibility.
The storm is moving towards the north-northeast and will impact Roxbury, Woodbury, Washington and Bethlehem between now and 1:45 p.m.
