Yesterday Morning it was fairly windy with winds gusting up to about 25 mph at the most will occasional rain.   But in the Afternoon it got crazy!!!  A Wind Advisory was issued for Southern Connecticut and Hartford Tolland and Windham counties due to winds up to 60 mph.   Then A Tornado Watch was issued for All of southern CT And Litchfield county.    Litchfield county had a high wind warning due to winds over 60 mph.   The Waves were Huge!!!   I went to check out the Guilford Marina and the birds couldn't fly all those winds coming off the sound shoved them north they couldn't head south.   I watched a Line of Severe Thunderstorms that held together as they reached fairfield and Litchfield Counties.   There were Winds in excess of 60 MPH And VERY HEAVY RAIN Once the storm reached the New Haven County/Middlesex county area there were some signs of weakening.  I went outside during the storm to see how it was and the winds were so strong it looked like waves were coming off the roof and coming off the road that i Live On!!!  One thing is though there wasn't really any lightning.  Maybe you heard a rumble of thunder but no huge lightning strikes or anything.  Connecticut Light and Power is out on the streets this morning to fix the power lines as fast as possible.    Be sure to follow my Instagram Account @ctweather
