Mary from Trumbull is concerned that some people don't know what to do in the case of a tornado in Connecticut.

"I was at work yesterday, talking with a few co-workers. I asked them if they lost power with the [recent] storm they said 'no'. The one thing that troubles me was: they did not know what to do in case a tornado hit Connecticut. I suggested that if they had a basement, to go there or the smallest room in the house. It bothers me that lot of people do not know what to do [in case of a tornado]. The reason I know is because I lived in Chicago and they had drills the first Tuesday of every month. The alarms in the city would go off. The first time I was scared, but my husband did explain it. I was trained in case something happened."

Do you know what to do if there was a tornado was heading for your area?
