Good morning boys and girls, ladies and gentleman. It's a chill start to the morning today, and our dewpoint temperatures are currently matching the actual temperature outside, and when those conditions happen, you often get dew and fog. That's what we've got going on this morning.
Our weather is currently influenced by weak high pressure off to the north, but it will continue to weaken today, so expect some clouds to start rolling in as a coastal low passes to our southeast. We could see a few raindrops this afternoon as this system builds up.
As this trough of low pressure deepens, it will beat out the high and give us some showers overnight tonight into tomorrow morning. We could see some of these showers linger into the late morning/early afternoon tomorrow, but as the afternoon progresses, we'll start to clear out, but still be seasonably cool.
Next weather maker comes in for Wednesday/Wednesday night, as a warm front, and then shortly after, a cold front rolls through. The 06z forecast model updates indicate not a lot of moisture associated with this storm system, so showers will probably not be heavy in nature.
Thursday-Sat are looking great as high pressure moves in, but it doesn't look like we'll make it back to 70 degrees over the next 8 days :(
Fall is here, so it seems!
