Bundle up Connecticut because it's going to be cold tonight! There is a freeze warning in effect for overnight tonight and temperatures are expected to drop into the 20's and 30's. I did some research to find some record low temperatures across the state and compared them to the current forecast. What I found was that many towns have a really good chance at beating their record lows tomorrow morning! Here is what I found. Data courtesy of weather underground.
City Forecasted Low Record Low
New Haven 31° 34° (1981)
Hartford 29° 28° (1957)
Bridgeport 34° 34° (1981)
Torrington 25° 30° (2006)
Putnam 29° 33° (2007)
New London 29° 31° (1981)
