After incredible weather on both Saturday and Sunday, another perfect day is expected Monday.
The image above shows surface conditions at 2pm on Monday. The main feature is the big, blue "H" ... That area of high pressure will bring plenty of sunshine on Monday.
The wind around high pressure is always clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, so if you follow the gray line around the "H" and also follow the gray lines in New England, you can see we will have a northwest wind. That means we won't be seeing the 70s like we saw on Saturday, but still can expect mild highs in the mid 60s.
Our next system sits back to our west. Clouds will be increasing Tuesday and we could see showers and a t'storm or two as early as Tuesday afternoon. On & off showers are expected all day Wednesday and even into Thursday for a bit.
After that, the next big story is the temperature on Friday. Highs may soar into the 70s. In fact, if the set-up is just right, highs closing in on 80° would not be out of the question...but too soon to know just yet, so stay tuned...
