Good day to you!  What an amazing day we had yesterday.  Near record temps along the shoreline, with lots of sun.  Today will also be beautiful and you'll be able to expect a lot of sun as high pressure dominates our weather.  The only difference is that the winds are now out of the northwest, which is a cooler wind direction, so don't expect those highs to get to warm as we move into the afternoon.  I'm expecting them to be only a few degrees above "normal", in the mid 60s statewide, with a few towns struggling to get much above 60 this afternoon.

We're also stuck between two systems, and with a tight pressure gradient associated with this, breezy conditions are expected into the afternoon today.  The winds could gust to around 20 mph, but not much more that that.  I checked the model grid data earlier and the winds higher up in the atmosphere aren't whipping around to much!

Moving to this coming week, Monday looks even nicer than today with endless sunshine and highs trying to hit 70.  I don't think we'll get there tomorrow, but topping out in the upper 60s is very likely.

The next weather maker is a quick clipper that'll pass to our north as it takes a ride on the ridge of high pressure that's giving us our nice weather today.  Expect a lot of clouds Tuesday, and some showers starting during the afternoon.  They will likely last into the first half of your Wednesday as well.

After that, a gradual warm-up comes for Thursday, and as of right now, we could be hitting 75 degrees by Friday (inland) with a lot of sun!

Make the best of these beautiful days!
