Forecast-Sandy Gusts
Here is our latest forecast for max wind gusts. I think the area from Norwich to Norwalk will have the highest winds in the state.
These are forecast gust numbers. In other words the peak wind intensity for the state not sustained winds. Some of the max gusts with Irene were 60-66 mph. So that gives you a bit of a reference point!
