Hurricane Sandy was an incredibly large storm with wide ranging impacts. I had the fortune of living an a particularly elevated section of Port Jefferson during this storm. Here in Long Island, if you weren't in the inundation zones that didn't mean you were immune from wind damage. Here's some of the damage I encountered in the last couple of days as I made my way around the area.
