This is what most of northern Connecticut will look like on Saturday morning as we all wake up. Northern Connecticut could see from 10" to over 2' of snow on Saturday morning as the storm will diminish after 12:00 p.m.. Southern Connecticut, near the shoreline, could see upwards of 8" of snow as there will be more mixing involved. Look on WTNH.com for school closings on Friday as the snow will start at 5:00 AM Friday for NW Connecticut and 9:00 eastern Connecticut.

Also check for fuel, batteries, charge any devices, get oil, money, snow, shovels, sand, salt, blankets, safety kits, boots, snow pants, goggles and anything else and leave yourself time for the store and back. The storm is originally a clipper and there are supposed to be two storms joining off shore.

Stay tuned.
