Luck O The Irish today with dry weather and a bit of a chill.

Stormy weather heads our way for later tomorrow through midday Tuesday. Cold air in place will allow for the moisture to fall as snow at the start even at the shoreline. Warmer air high up in the atmosphere will cause the snow to change over to rain slowly from south to north. There could be a longer period of ice for much of northern Connecticut before the temperature goes above freezing. This could spell some school issues early Tuesday for some areas. Immediate shoreline cities such as New Haven, Bridgeport and New London should have just rain early Tuesday. It should be moving out Tuesday Afternoon from west to east.

Here is an early look at the snow accumulation map. Steve will be in later with an update. Stay here for updates through the duration.

Spring officially arrives Wednesday with a chilly breeze and that holds through the end of the week.
