A severe weather outbreak slammed Connecticut on July 21st, 2010.
The most severe storm produced a weak tornado with 90 MPH winds in Bristol.
Other storm damage in the city was caused by straight-line winds.
Downed trees and power lines accounted for most of the damage, but some cars, homes and businesses were also damaged by the tornado.
A second, weaker tornado tracked from East Litchfield to Terryville.
Across the state, there were many reports of 1 inch diameter hail and localized flooding.
