Here are some images of scud clouds, which are NOT actual tornadoes.
Meteorologist Boris A. Konon captured these photos in Massachusetts on July 24th.
We've run some stories like this before, but this is an excellent collection of several photos that appear to show a cloud formation that looks like a tornado.
To review, scud clouds are often cloud fragments that form near or in thunderstorms.
They can often be mistaken for tornadoes, due to the fact that they can look like a funnel or a column of clouds that drops down towards the ground.
