Tropical Storm Hanna affected Connecticut on September 6th, 2008.

Hanna was expected to move up the East Coast and potentially impact almost every state from Florida to Maine. Although the storm remained a Tropical Storm, not becoming a Hurricane, it still hit Connecticut fairly hard.

The system paralleled the mid-Atlantic coast and eventually crossed into Connecticut and southeastern New England. Heavy rains and flooding ended up being the worst this storm would offer. Although winds were gusty, they were not particularly damaging.

Take a look back at some images from the storm.
