Rainfall Totals So Far: 5 PM

Rainfall totals since last night have exceeded 1.00 inches in some parts of CT.
Radar estimates that the heaviest rain has fallen across interior New Haven County.
As of 5 p.m.
Rainfall totals across the state were generally on the light side, between 0.25 and 0.75 inches, but some areas have picked up an inch or more of rainfall.
The heaviest official totals have come back from southwestern CT.
Chris from Beacon Falls reports approximately 1.75" of rain since last night.
Danbury reported 1.62", with 0.81" at Sikorsky Airport in Stratford and 0.76" at New Haven.
Michael from West Haven reported 0.83" around 3 p.m.
Rest of today:
Moderate to heavy rain was affecting portions of northwestern CT around 2 p.m. Some communities hose areas may also end up with over an inch of rain by later on this afternoon. Elsewhere, scattered off and on showers will pop up through the afternoon and into the evening hours. A few embedded thunderstorms are possible.
