If the tropics weren't already hot enough, yet another system has just formed.

Tropical Depression (TD) #19 formed at 5 p.m. Eastern Time in the open Atlantic.

Discussion:
TD #19 does not appear to be a threat to any United States landmass. In fact, it's forecast to move northeastward and get swung around a large ocean low. The storm is expected to strengthen and could become either Tropical Storm Tony in the near future.
