Here are some snowfall totals from November 12th, 2013. (click to zoom in)

A line of rain and snow showers behind a cold front passed from northwest to southeast across Connecticut on Tuesday morning, November 12th, 2013. Any areas that were initially reporting rain quickly changed to snow. While temperatures were in the 40s to near 50 around midnight, just before the precipitation began, all areas fell into the 30s by daybreak. Snow tapered off from mid to late morning and when all was said and done, some areas had a slushy accumulation.

The greatest snowfall totals were across the higher terrain of southwestern and northeastern Connecticut. It was here that there were some reports of around or just over 1.0 inches of new snow. Along the immediate shoreline, snow fell, but in most cases was not able to accumulate.

The totals used in this map have passed through quality control and appear to be the most representative for the given areas. Locations that recorded a trace of snow (snow flakes in the air, but no accumulation on the ground) were not included in this map.

Here is a complete list of snowfall totals used. Comment below with your total!
