Stunning Photos from EF-2 Tornado in Revere, MA

At approximately 9:32 AM Monday morning a tornado ripped through Revere, Massachusetts which is located in Suffolk county.  Winds speeds were estimated at 120 MPH which would categorize this weather phenomenon as an EF-2 on the Fujita Scale.  The National Weather Service also estimated the path width at 3/8 of a mile.  The tornado was on the ground for 2 miles.  Fortunately there were no fatalities or injuries.  Most of the damage was observed in Revere, MA but there was also some damage in Chelsea. Trees were uprooted, roofs blown off, oak trees were snapped mid-way up, windows blown out. More than 100 homes were damaged, store signs were destroyed.  Trees fell on cars and even a car was overturned. Check out these images to see the damage in caused by this tornado on Revere.
