Preview of Severe Weather to Come

While Connecticut prepares for severe weather on Wednesday, areas further to our north are under the gun for powerful storms today.

The setup includes an approaching cold front, very unstable air, hot surface temperatures and high dew-points. All of this is combining for quite a severe weather setup over the next 24 to 36 hours.

Although Connecticut should escape most of the storms today, keep an eye to our north. What happens up there could be a preview of what's to come...
