A lifelong resident of Connecticut, I've always been fascinated by the variations of weather we're all lucky to experience.  I enjoy it all, but my least favorite weather is boring weather.  The crazier, the better!  Living in southeastern Connecticut, the strong thunderstorm and heavy snowstorm are more rare, but that much more appreciated.

I am a Skywarn trained spotter, but far from a meteorologist.  I'm saving my pennies for a Davis weather system for my backyard and trying to learn as much as I can from people much smarter than me about the how and why weather happens.
