Michael Pirhalla

Mike is currently an intern at WTNH and looks forward to writing for WXedge. He's a senior at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, and is majoring in meteorology. Set to graduate in May of 2012, Mike enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and being with his friends. He is also an avid volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He has hiked Mount Washington three times, and spent the entire month of January 2011 on the summit. Through Plymouth State and the Mount Washington Observatory, he was able to experience hurricane force winds as high as 100mph and wind chills below -50! After graduation, he plans on pursuing grad school, or will attempt to find a job.
